This place is pretty good overall. The selection of broths includes a truly spicy and rich broth, and the cuts of meat are thinly sliced so you can cook them almost instantly in the hot pot. You can also make your own dip for the meat, with a bar that has all sorts of sauces you can mix to your own preference. A big plus is the free bar that accompanies your meal, which has nicely spiced cucumbers and chicken feet, as well as fresh fruit and other dessert items. A note of trivia: This was the restaurant in The Brothers Sun on Netflix (episode 3 I think) and I played the snarky waiter serving two of the main characters (I am definitely not a professional actor though; this was right place/right time to get cast).

Alhambra has a lot of hot pot restaurants, but this restaurant must be one of the best ones. I dined here for lunch on a Saturday afternoon with friends, and we were seated immediately. Mind you, Xiao Long Kan is not an AYCE restaurant, but the quality of the food is great. The orders are placed through a QR code, and you just add whatever menu items you want onto the cart with your smartphone. The broth selection is varied too; there is tomato, pork bone, mala (spicy), and more. And, like many other Chinese hot pot restaurants, there is a self-serve sauce bar at the front. The food came out quickly, and we experienced good service. Parking is located at the back of the restaurant, although there is optional street parking as well.

Awesome place for high-quality Hot Pot with all of the essentials. We were able to order everything on a tablet and everything was served in blocks and in a timely manner. We opted for the Wagyu and regular Beef as well as a few sides including fish tofu, quail eggs, spam, and fried pork. The sauce bar has a variety of choices as well as shrimp crackers, cucumbers, and a few other snacks for the table. The cucumbers were a favorite of mine and I found myself going back for multiple servings! Everything was of great flavour and quality which makes this place one of my favorites. The spicy soup can be a bit much if your spice tolerance isn't high. It's more of a numbing spicy. This place is a bit on the pricier side depending on how hungry you are and how many people in your party. Though there is no AYCE option, I think this place is well worth the price. We were able to be seated right away at a mostly empty restaurant at around 1 PM on a Saturday. Whether you need your Hotpot fix or want a new place to try with friends, this is the perfect place. Will definitely be back again soon!

After we had a craving for hot pot in the area and parked in the lot we were so ready for this. The beef tongue came with an ample portion. Bamboo fungus could be a bit less limp. They provide a few dessert options like pineapple, ice jelly, and sweet rice. Crystal beef is tenderized! Highly recommend of all the meat options. As for sauce options, they don't have ponzu but they do have black vinegar and house special sauce. The service was fast but not sure if it's because we were there before the dinner rush I really miss when they had outdoor dining. My hair smells like hotpot and the outdoor aspect helped with this.
